my little guy loves his sophie the giraffe. and i think it’s super cute too
This is such helpful information! Thank you so much for the researching and posting! My, soon to be one year old, doesn’t have teeth yet, but it is good what products to be on the look out for! Thanks so much!!
all of this information you’ve compiled and researched is just terrific… i’m especially thrilled w/the teether information because our lil guys just starting to teeth… it breaks your heart to see them uncomfortable, and it’s nice to know you’ve done your homework as a parent (someone shoulda warned us about all the HOMEWORK) haha…
just wanted to say thank you!
My son received the Gerber Orbiteether as a gift but I wasn’t sure what it is made of. I emailed Gerber and they said, “The Gerber OrbiTeether is made of polypropylene with an overlay of PVE (PolyVinyl Ethylene).” Is PVE safe for babies? I can’t find any information on it.
thanks
Where is the Je Je teether made? I emailed the company but didn’t get a response.
@Cindy: We called the company and they’ve confirmed that the Je Je is made in the USA.
I spoke to Gerber today and their Cool Ring Soother is BPA and Phylate free.
Thanks for all of the information. As a new Mom I love having this site as a reference!
Great teether guide. I was wondering if you have any info for the Sassy flip phone and the click n’ chew keys. These are my 9mth old sons favorites and now I feel I may need to take them away from him.
I have contacted Parent toys (Battat company) about baby rattles that my children put in ther mouthes like teethers. In December I was told they went completely phthalate free a few years ago. This spring I called again to find out exactly what these toys were made of. The person I talked with was very helpful and took the time to find out more information. She called me back a few days later saying that the company does not use PVC or BPA in any of their products. I want to believe this and feel safe buying more of their products, but it sounds to good to be true. Do you know anything about the company and their baby toys?
Does anyone know anything about the Fisher Price Miracles and Milestones Penguin Water Teether? I’m wary of this product because it’s made in China, despite the fact that another website said it was BPA free. It may be BPA free but I’m wondering if it’s pthalate and lead free as well? Believe it or not I can’t find any of the safe teethers listed on this website at my local Target, Walmart or Babies R Us- frustrating!
Thanks for all the great teethers (among many other things!) available on this site. I am looking at getting the Baby Buddy Baby’s 1st Toothbrush made of silicone for my son. Kids seem to like it and it is PVC/BPA free. Thought you might want to look into carrying it on your site… if you do, I’d buy it from you!
